EEPROM EDITOR allow you to view, edit, clone EEPROM from lastest VAG CAR.COMPATIBILITY: MED17 EDC17 SIMOS8 SIMOS10 SIMOS11 SIMOS12 SIMOS18 PCR2.1 PPD1.X EEPROM CHECKSUM is done automatically. This is very friendly user, simply follow the instructions and the software will do the rest for you. To use this software, you will need a full binary flash and eeprom from your ecu. You can clone MEDC17/SIMOS/PCR2.1 ECU. CLONE MED17/EDC17 WFS4 and WFS5 and WFS6 without SHE: IMMOBILIZER info are saved in EEPROM ONLY. This is the easiest ecu to clone, software will do everything for you. CLONE MED17/EDC17 WFS6 with SHE: IMMOBILIZER info are saved in EEPROM and (Secured Extention Hardware) These MED17/EDC17, known as MED17.1.62 or EDC17C74, cannot be cloned. The only way to make them work is to use IMMOFF17 then you can EDIT VIN with eeprom editor to match the new vehicule, or just blank it (replace vin with XXXX) CLONE PCR2.1 and SIMOS1X.X without SHE: IMMOBILIZER info are in EEPROM AND FLASH. Unlike MED17, SIMOS ECU has the 'powerklass' information saved in FLASH. It is also possible to clone them following the instructions, available in FAQ section. If you are using a tool that save SPLITTED file (FLASH0, FLASH1), like AUTOTUNER, then you will find a nice feature, that join these two file automatically for your conveniance. When you will save eeprom, it will re-split the file into flash0/flash1, so you don't have to manually do it each time. To CLONE/EDIT/VIEW Eeprom, you will ALWAYS NEED a full read flash. The full read will contain the MCU ID wicht is required to decrypt and encrypt EEPROM immobilizer data.
